The Art of Ellen Lerner O'Donnell

I'm a Los Angeles native, and I began sketching at a very early age. My formal training in Art started at CSUN in California. My paintings are influenced by the French Impressionist school and I now bring my artistic eye to the Photographic stage. I use my unique eye for beauty, light, color and composition and creates images of all living things.

My works hang in many private collections around the United States.

My motivation is simple ...

"I want to touch the heart of the viewing audience."

Flowers, children, animals.....all living things are important to my life and to everything I create. It shows in my oil paintings as I like to produce the kind of emotional painting that "touches the heart of the audience". My paintings have been exhibited at the Ruth Mayer Gallery in Laguna Beach, and the Swan Gallery, Toluca Lake, where I had a very successful One Woman Show. I am a member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC.

I live in the hills with my husband Charlie O'Donnell and our new little girl "Bonnie, The Sassy Lassy". Our garden blooms with flowers throughout the year.
